“Fun in the Sun” was perfect beach vacation home for us. This home had it all… with nearly 3800 sq.ft. of interior space to vacation and play in and over 3000 sq.ft. of party “Super decks” and Screen porch to enjoy we just loved it. “Fun in the Sun” is just a very short walk to the beach; and even closer to the community center and the walk down Schooner Ridge Drive leaves you right in the heart of Duck proper with all it’s wonderful shops and restaurants and Town of Duck park and soundside boardwalk. It seemed like they thought of nearly everything. “Fun in the Sun” has a large beautiful pool, hot tub, gigantic “super” decks”, a private “Tiki” bar and the 14 x 22 Screened-in porch on the third floor which offers a terrific late-night refuge. The sea breeze and the night stars are so incredibly relaxing that I considered just sleeping there on the upper level private deck which is perfect for star gazing. After looking at the many communities the Town of Duck in the OBX has to offer we decided that 'Fun In the Sun' in the Schooner Ridge community with all its amenities and accommodations, was the best place to best create our wonderful family memories which we know we will treasure for a life time! We also love hearing from our guests and 'friends” who share with us their wonderful experiences and memories they've made enjoying their vacations in our home while discovering new ways to make their 'Fun in the Sun' Duck, NC vacations so special!

Great house for a great trip!

This house has everything you could possibly need for a stress-free, full-filled week in the Outer Banks. The decks on the house are amazing and even have a hammock for a nice afternoon break. The pool and hot tub were clean and the perfect addition for when we came back from the beach.

The house is a short walk to both the beach and the REC center. The beachfront pool is such a luxury and wonderful plus to the community. We enjoyed the REC center which has tennis courts, indoor and outdoor pool, a exercise room, everything you could possibly need.

We had many different family members with us this trip and the eight bedrooms made it easy to make sure everyone had a bed to sleep it. This house is fantastic and can't wait for our next summer at Fun in the Sun!

Family Vacation We will never forget!

We have family all over in several different states, so to get together is a rare treat! This place was big enough for 3 good sized families and Grandpa! We wanted Grandpa to never forget this vacation because he has alzheimer's disease. We got that and more! We were walking distance from the ocean and from a great rec center!

We spent time at visiting some of the local sights: Wright brothers museum, Bodie Island lighthouse and more! We really didn't have time to do everything in a week's time. We took pictures at the beach, kids in the pool, family photo on the pier, all the sight seeing we did, relaxing at "Fun in the Sun", etc.

We had a great time! We relaxed and had a blast together! Best of all, Grandpa will never forget this vacation! Truly, this was priceless!!

The house had everything we wanted and much, much more! Thanks! We will be coming back. Next year's vacation can not come soon enough!

Fun in the Sun- Just that!

Great house and owners who were personable! Amenities covered everything we needed and plenty we didn't even get to during the week we were there! Clean, Maintained, and updated! We had a group of 18 and fit us perfectly!

Great room configurations, LOVE all the decking, and was plenty of room for everyone to get lost in! Kiddos had a great time overtaking the basement! Thanks for the great pad perfectly close to the ocean and the boardwalk, and DUCK DONUTS! Hopes to come back soon!!
